Blog under construction, hold on for now.

Of course who knows what happens to any of us years later. One of my friends is a doctor, another is in Sweden, another travels the world taking photos of interesting people, while some people I've lost track of and others have lost track of me.

These stories tell of people and events, cross paths with professors, students, persons who became well known, street people, friends and lovers. They chronicle a part of California social history that very likely will never be repeated.

A few of the chapters take place in Alaska and Oregon where I worked during summers while attending college. This book is unique in its presentation. No other book I am aware of in the market describes Berkeley and the people of those times in such a lyrical and humanistic light.
